I never got around to playing NG but the new lead looks cool.

Although i confused him for Ryu at first so im hoping he avoids DMC Nero's pitfalls.

Yakumo as Ryu's rival reminds me of Yaiba from Ninja Gaiden Z.

NG shares a universe with Dead or Alive so I'm hoping some of the Fighters pop up.

I'm curious why Japan has called remade games remasters (NG2B and Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster). I've read it is a misunderstanding of translation on their part (and maybe vice versa). I figured they were doing it intentionally for 1:1 remakes as to not confuse the consumer thinking it's a whole new, different game (ala the RE remakes, FF7R, etc). Or maybe games that heavily recycle and migrate old assets to UE5 are some type of hybrid and can be called a "remaster". But I don't think so, on technicality.

It is kind of annoying because it just perpetuates the "remaster or remake" debate/confusion. Not call you out, V, but just saying.

I thought remaster was a graphical overhaul with quality of life improvements.

While a remake is more of a top to bottom overhaul. But FF7R muddied the waters as its a soft reboot and goes further than other remakes.

A remaster is the original assets spruced up and a resolution bump

Ninja gaiden 2 black was built from the ground up in unreal engine 5, a completely different engine from the original and sigma remasters.

So it is a remake, remaster is not as in depth of a change in games.
