!! This was my favorite chapter! It had an awesome fight scene (you did that really well, and I'm all about the fighting), very creative and different to the usual 'resurrections' out there. Cain was brilliant. Nero falling off a cliff, getting pierced with a sword, then fainting - what is NOT to like about this chapter? LOL!!! XD

ah but it doesn't clash with cannon...because that is what Mundus intended Trish to do...kill Dante...although his plan backfired because perhaps he had forgotten about Trish's human side....??? Remember Dante saves Trish's life after the final Nightmare battle, and then she saves his life in the cathedral....

Cora's request is another fic that eleborates, a little bit on Trish's origins. Cora is Trish's adoptive mother. Cora was a servant to Mundus. And she despartly wanted a child. and she couldn't have one. She so begged Mundus to create one for her. And he obliged her request for his own selfish purposes...he created Trish, and made her look like Eva (without using Eva's DNA) Cora adopted Trish...er well let Trish explain it...here's expert from Crystal Caves....
Trish:“And she raised me as her child, when I was a child that is and she brought me to the human world so I could get and an education. She didn’t want me to be a dumb blonde. So she negotiated a sort of adoption contract with Mundus.”
Dante:“And that contract was?”
Trish:“Cora, that was her name, could adopt me and take me into the human world and educate me until my eighteenth birthday, then after that I was to be in Mundus’ Control. And I was when I met you.”

I figured Mundus had created Trish to be half and half, like Dante....He's the king of the underworld...it seemed to me llike he would have that power...yes, but I haven't finished it. I got stuck on a boss...lol. did you check out Cora's Request?

well i read that she is 1/2 demon 1/2 human in several sources so that's what I am going with...:lol:
