I also hope it's the second option.. And I do understand what you mean.

I'm trying to be optimistic for this new image of Dante. But with so much lack of knowledge, it's hard to not be biased (If that seems understandable?) To be honest, I prefer the second option you placed. It's set several years before Devil May Cry 3, and Dante had a different image. But I wouldn't want it to not be the same guy we know and love. Or to just scrap the other games entirely. That would destroy everything so far.

I'm thinking that the game is allready been done with maybe 2-3 different kinda story games..
1. New Dante with new storyline..?
2. Or the Dante we know and tell his storyline how he became a devil hunter and when he used his real name..??
3. Or maybe it's a new character who call himself Dante after he heard about the legendary Dante..???
And when they are saying that more information will come in a year or 2, than they are just teasing us.. I think when they are saying something like that, then it really means that the game is allready done, and maybe will be out in beginning of 2011..

That's not as long away as I was originally hoping. Maybe they won't have time with making moderations, and it'll just go out as it is >_>

I hear they have one to two years until they are planning to release DmC. Hopefully they make some changes

I hope that ninja theory have done something good to the 'DmC reboot' game.

Yeah I saw a trailer for that on TV a few days ago. It didn't really look that great to be honest.

i just saw ninja theory and namco confirmed a new game ENSLAVED.. Doesnt look cool at all..
