Yeah, that makes sense. And, you're probably right. Is there somewhere that it says what actually DID happen? I'd like to read that, if it exists.

Oh, that's a cool Vergil-is-still-alive concept! I like the idea that he just separates himself from Nelo. But, then how does he regain his original body? I thought Mundus had killed his body and put his soul into Nelo, or something like that. I dunno, I'm probably way off...

Well, thank you! I wish Vergil hadn't ever died. That was like something the writers of the first game didn't think through very carefully, I bet. If only they could have known the future...

Anyway, in my likely-to-never-be-written fan fic, Vergil comes back to life because Titania discovers that his amulet, which Dante has, contains Vergil's soul, so she has someone steal it from Dante's shop, then a team of alchemists extract his soul from it. Then, Titania also, knowing Vergi's body is rotting away in the demon world, has the thief steal a hair from Dante's hair brush, and then her alchemists clone Dante's body and put Vergil's soul inside of it. Voila! Vergil is as normal as he ever used to be, lol...

I have no idea Trish. Some ppl do fight about silly little things though...

I do that, too. I actually was going to write a fan fic where Vergil gets resurrected by a woman named Titania who manipulates him into getting his sword, Yamato, back because she needs it to permanently awaken Mundus. She's like the descendant of a woman oracle who met Sparda 2,000 ago and made a prophecy that he would have a son who would become the emperor of her country, and he'd get rid of all the demons in the world forever with Yamato. She basically fills Vergil's head with all this stuff because she's beautiful and he falls in love with her, and she's really a human who became a demon and is loyal to Mundus, his old master.

And, then when he finds out she was fooling him the entire time, he kills her!! Go Vergil!! lol...

See, I can invent my own characters, too!

This kind of crack is good... I like that fact that I invented a DMC ship all by myself!

LOL! I know it's way bizarre, but if you imagine Patty and Vergil arguing about everything, it becomes cute!

Oh, okay... Poor kid... So, is this fic mostly the Dante x Trish ship? Even though I love Dante, I don't like to ship him with anybody in the series, which is odd. The only ship I like is Vergil x Patty (older teenager). LOL! That's the last pairing anyone would ever come up with, but I think they'd be so interesting together...

Yeah, but what doesn't Sparda hijack? It's hard to avoid him. He butts-in everywhere... Hope you figure out what to do with your story.
