Really tough since Vergil has no juggling aerials other than Yamato, which is incredibly demanding to jump cancel. I can only get 2-3 before Vergil is too high up.
From the looks of how people constantly spam Summoned Swords with him, I should change gun to a shoulder button when playing Vergil?
Well I mean obviously there have to be some, the game is 10 years old. But I'm not having much luck finding any. I was never any good at Vergil and I figure I'm missing out on a good part of the game by not knowing anything about how he can be played. Combo videos are pretty much an...
I meant it as when is the best time after a launch to start attacking. Difficult to describe. I guess where should Dante's feet be in relation to the enemy? I've seen plenty of videos, but I can't really visualize what you mean by shoulder height.
I thought this place had an Edit Post button.
This game really feels like it's pushing the limit of what a thumb is meant to do. Makes me wish it could be played on arcade stick.
What do some people here use? Do you just experiment and practice until you find your own ideal positions for jump, style, and melee, and nobody really has a suggested layout?
Obviously they should make both and we'll get 2 new Devil May Cry games within the next 3-4 years.
Things that would never happen. I'm hoping Capcom isn't crazy enough to make it a competition, but it's not far-fetched to think that the DMC4 re-release is to gauge interest in the original series.
I always keep DMC4 installed on my laptop. Though it's not as much fun to replay DMC4 because I'm not very good as Nero and his levels aren't actually that hard.
X/ A to jump, Triangle/ Y to attack. Is there a trick to getting it quickly and consistently? Especially with Aerial Cross, since you can do pretty serious damage rapidly jump-canceling it. Do you just align your thumb so it only hits attack and jump and start mashing, or there are any other...
I haven't played DMC4 since February , then I played some today as Nero and it all went fine. Then I switched to Dante and didn't have the slightest clue what I was doing, so I figure now is a good time to learn some control schemes for the fancier combos, because I was never very good with...
There isn't a "God" or a Satan in the DMC games There isn't even any religion to be seen aside from the Order of the Sword. There are just demons, angels, and humans.
The "scariness" of DMC was mainly a holdover from its roots as a Resident Evil game. Though I'm not interested in seeing another forest area like in DMC4 and still want to see some castles, I definitely don't want DMC to even attempt to be a horror game in any capacity. Resident Evil tried to...
