    Vergil's part

There's *still* no proper proof that he died, and what are these "reserves" anyway. But I guess the upcoming game/games will reveal if he really did die or not.

    Vergil's part

If Mundus didn't want to lose such a powerful servant, it wouldn't make much sense if he killed him, now would it? After going through the trouble of turning Vergil into Nelo, it's surprising he would just kill him off because he begins to remember who he was. Mundus could've easily...

    Vergil's part

But did he really kill Vergil with it? It could've just been used to disable him in order for Mundus to brainwash him more. There's no proof that this "defense mechanism" killed Vergil, or that Mundus used it to disable Vergil because he had bigger plans for him. I think things will get more...

    Vergil's part

They could've just made it look like Vergil died to make everyone belive that he really did die. But, if Mundus now did kill Vergil, why did he do it more differently than he did to Griffon? He could've just killed him the same way. To me, it looked like Vergil teleported or was teleported of...

    Nelo Angelo

He is a key character in the series, so I wouldn't be surprised if he comes back sooner or later.

    Nelo Angelo

Quite possible. It's either that or he was released from Mundus' control after Dante defeated Mundus. I'm hoping Vergil will make another "dramatic" entrance.

No, I don't think he was completely killed. Vergil is the kind of guy who could take a beating over and over again, but still be alive. Besides, one of the persons in the DMC 3 team (can't remember his name) said that Vergil is too important to just die.

    Coolest DMC 2 boss

I didn't have any problems with him, I just didn't bother to play further than that since I got DMC 3, I might continue some day though.

How do you know that? Is there any real proof he died? Of course, he could be dead. But I don't think he'd die that easily.

    Coolest DMC 2 boss

Jokatgulm is the water demon with tentacles sticking out of a rock trying to hit you. My favs are Nefasturris and Bolverk. They could've made the bosses harder than they were though. I never finished the game myself since I bought DMC 3 shortly after DMC 2, never got farther than the part...

    Nelo Angelo

I don't think Mundus killed him, even though it may have looked like he did. Sure, he disappeared and dropped his amulet, but that doesn't mean he died. He could very well be alive for all we know, besides...he's far too badass to go out like that.

Are Dante & Vergil Sparda himself??

Actually, he doesn't use guns because he thinks a real warrior doesn't use firearms. You saw how quickly he threw Ebony back to Dante after they shot Arkham. :P And I think Vergil's swordsmanship was at a much higher degree than Dante and Sparda. He didn't deflect Dante's bullets after all...

    Vergil vs Nelo Angelo

Vergil, without a single thought of doubt. I like the idea of being so fast you just disappear in your enemy's eyes then come out of nowhere and impale them with your sword. Nelo's cool, don't get me wrong. He was the only boss I actually enjoyed fighting in Devil May Cry...aside from wooping...
