And Xevnas meant that about putting his head on a pike, BTW. He doesn't easily trust people, and Cain is being quite hard to trust right now, considering Xevnas already knows his story about being chased is false.

Yes, but the big arms on his back provide a balancing issue. Since in that form he no longer has any tails to help balance, he is considerably more... Rickety, I guess. I mean, in comparison to his upper body, his lower body is tiny.
Well, you already know what Xevnas looks like, so I don't have to describe Darker's lizard form. His dragon form is quadrupedal and has four tails and four wings, plus an extra pair of arms for use in combat. His eyes in all his forms are always a colorless, pale white. No pupils or irises.
His final form, in contrast, is humanoid, but ferocious. It looks kind of like this, but with a lizard-like head.

Alright. Remember Xevnas? It's a character that looks like him, but only sometimes. Normally he's in a human form that looks kind of like this.
His name is Darker. He's also half insane because he can absorb souls from his victims and they kind of mess with him. But he's sane enough to know that he tries to be a good guy sometimes. He also refers to himself as "we" and "our" instead of "I" and "mine".
When he sees the moon, he goes into an uncontrollable rage and shifts into his lizard form. In that form his power is unimaginable, and continued exposure to lunar energy transforms him into a quadrupedal, draconic form. If he transforms further after that, his body literally bursts from the energy inside him and reforms into a humanoid but extremely deadly final form, in which he's lost all intelligence and wishes only to kill.
Well, so far, I've only got one idea, and it's a kind of selfish idea too... It's a character idea for me. >_<

I like anime, and actually, more often than not, the manga comes first. So the anime take from the manga.
I actually think there's an anime that did that. Can't remember what it's called, though.

Nice idea... That's kind of like my idea of making the Gundam mecha human sized so they're like suits of armor.
