  • I also don't like Lucifer or Gilgamesh. Lucifer is too delayed in it's damage and Gilgamesh has unneeded pauses during it's combos.
Blue Rose and the Coyote-A are the only guns I ever used... Pandora was just weird and Ebony & Ivory did barely any damage, even when charged.
Yeah, good. I had a friend who thought he could go through the entire game with guns only and got bored with it. I told him he had a sword, but he said he hated sword because "guns are the best in any other game I've played". He only ever played first person shooters and strategy games before.
Dante is, to me, just not smooth to use at all. Switching between styles on the fly is cool, but it's kind of hard to use.
I bet you do. But IMO, Nero's gameplay is better than Dante. I told that to someone on here once, and what he told me is that Nero is simple and easy to use, and said that I had no skill because I hate Dante.
It's not just that they were quick and agile, it's that they flew away like, ten feet after a single combo. They did that in other games too, but it wasn't a problem there.

Nero IS more suited to this game. I think they just stuck Dante in there so fans wouldn't get butthurt, but they did anyway. People can't accept change at all nowadays... For the record, I dislike Dante with a passion, and always have after DMC3.
Oh, no doubt. The combat in DMC4 was better than the others, barring Dante's playstyle... The enemies are just too... I dunno, light? They fly away too easily, and Dante has no way of closing the gap quickly except with Trickster, which I absolutely hate using.
Ah, the Mephistos and Fausts? Those were pretty cool. But they were annoying cuz they could go through walls, just like the Sin and Death enemies from DMC1.

Actually, now that I think of it... DMC4 borrows a lot of enemies from DMC1, doesn't it?
Any of 'em. Although they're called Assaults in 4, and those are slightly stronger, so I'd probably have one of those.

And man, they REALLY weakened the Frosts in DMC4. >.> They were EVIL in 1, but they were generic grunt units in 4.
Although I can get rid of stress rather easily. Just slice apart some demons in DMC or shoot up some mavericks in Mega Man X. :p
