Nah, it's fine. I think what should be happening to Shilo is the final step to her becoming a hybrid, and that's her animal spirit. The only problem is that in the beginning, it conflicts with her personality and she develops a split one. However, later, the personalities end up merging into something that's more or less nearly identical to the original Shilo, but maybe with a bit more bite to her.
