I actually don't think either of them could kill him. They could cut him to pieces, but as long as he had someone to absorb, he'd just come back... Which makes him pretty badass. He also makes zombie servants out of everyone he absorbs.
He'd absorb the life force of someone who was foolish enough to come by, and just come back to life. He would be truly immortal.
Well, he's a vampire, so he ends up becoming immortal. He can have his head severed and he'd still be alive.
