Sorry...I didn't run out on you there, for some reason my internet keeps bombing me out of the website. The fic is based off the Forbidden Game trilogy by L.J.Smith. Basically this shadow guy from another world gets trapped in a closet by a sorcerer, and then the sorcerer's grandaughter accidentally opens the door and the shadow men inside want to 'claim' her for freeing them. The grandad ends up going in her place, but the one shadow man isn't happy because he wanted the girl, so he kind of watches her and stalks her, and his intrigue by her turns into love and eventually into full-blown crazy obsession - so when she's sixteen, he tricks her into buying a game for her boyfriend's birthday party, and then through the game she and her friends get sucked into the Shadow World where they have to face their nightmares and make it through their nightmares to reach the doorway back to their world in time (because there's a time limit set, sort of like a race game)

Um...it's about two shadow men - one jealous of the other, and the other just down-right spiteful - who declare war to save the women they love. It ends badly for the one who is jealous.
