Kitanna's mother is Mundus' sister, Amamalia. Amamalia thought it would be unwise to unite the demon power families...so she refused to let Kitanna and Vergil be together, even though Kitanna and Vergil were very much in love...and also not to mention that Kitanna was pregnant with Persephone when Amamalia found about her only daughter's relationship with Vergil. Amamalia made her daughter feel as though she had no choice but to dump Persephone on Vergil and leave him....but now in the story she has rebelled againest her mother, and she's back in Vergil and Persephone's lives...
Kitanna is Persephone's mommy.
It was as if Vergil had been sleeping all day. He had woken up at seven that morning. Persephone woke up at eight. The two had a conversation about what might happen now that Kitanna was back in their lives, while Persephone ate her cereal. Kitanna woke up at ten. After two cups of coffee she took Persephone out shopping. Vergil guessed that they had just gotten back. At that very second, Persephone decided to crawl into her father’s lap.
Hi Daddy,” she said.
"Hi honey, did you have a good time shopping with Mommy?”
"Yeah! Mommy bought me a new Barbie!”
"Another Barbie?”
Vergil having to deal with Barbie dolls....
