Super nanny can kiss my backside - she doesn't even have any kids so she knows nothing. My sister is also a nanny and even she knows that once you have an emotional bond with a kid it's much much harder to do the things they do so casually on TV. She finds it much harder to discipline Jessica than she does the 4 children she looks after for 14 hours a day, 7 days a week.

I'm not getting on my knees for a kid - she can damn well hurt her neck looking up in fear at me towering over her. Worked on me as a kid when my parents did it and I'm not going to treat her like an equal - she isn't one. She's a child and she'll flippin' well learn that distinction before the end of tonight...

I could cheerfully batter her sometimes - in this past week alone she has destroyed her swimming stuff, a pillow, a duvet, an 18 carat gold necklace belonging to my late grandmother and her entire bedroom - twice. If she was 2 years old I could make allowances, but for goodness sakes she is SEVEN! I don't even shout anymore - I just walk straight out of her room again and go downstairs before I lose it completely. I have no idea what has gotten into her lately - she's horrible to live with. I hope to all that is holy that this is instead of her teenage years and when she hits 13 she'll be lovely
