Nero was the son of Tara (who was the only human servant of Mundus) and Randolph (also a human)....Randolph and Tara never married. although Tara intended to betray Mundus and go to the human world and marry Randolph... Tara got pregnant by Randolph. Mundus found out, and since he was looking for an excuse to kill Tara, because he had tired of her. He killed her after she gave birth to Nero. Mundus also killed Randolph. Mundus then told Narcisse to raise Nero, until he was old enough to be trained in combat so he could become Nelo Angelo. When Nero was 7, he told Narcisse that she wasn't his mother and ran away to Fortuna, where Credo and Kryie's parents took him in....
