okay...well here's what I was thinking...Vergil and Kitanna met after Dmc 1...after Vergil was Nelo Angelo....Vergil was very depressed...he ended up in Fortuna...where he met Kitanna...the two fell in love...Kitanna got pregnant with Persephone...then Amamalia (Kitanna's mother) found out about her daughter and Vergil and scolded her for plotting to unite the demon power familes...so Kitanna left Vergil because she felt presurred by her mother to do so...
