You aren't being stupid, but you can't be too sure if you are pushing her away or not. If you think you are, and she tells you that you aren't; then I suggest you continue as normal. You can't be in the wrong if you had no idea you were pushing her away. By telling you that you aren't, when you are is a lie. If she does that, she is misleading you. It's not entirely your fault for being too paranoid or whatever. Show her your feelings, and talk to her about what is on your mind and everything. Dude, I have those problems myself. It is something I can easily relate to. There are a lot of people online who just like to flirt, but come barging in and hitting on other people's girls. It's only natural to be slightly paranoid, it shows you care and that it is constantly on your mind

But, do not try and be too overprotective of her. What you need to do, is tell her your feelings. You need to talk to her about it all. Do not try and protect her or make sure she doesn't speak to this person or that person without her knowing you did it out of love (Otherwise she's going to be ****ed)
