  • You weren't foolish. If we blame ourselves for everything that happens then we immediately think that when something goes wrong we are the one to blame. There is a level of being harsh on one's self; you need a right balance of it though. Being too harsh is a bad thing, but not being harsh enough is also a bad thing.

You are not a git Gemma :P
To be frank, a true friend to me is similar to that of a partner "Weird I know but hear me out".

Partners are suppose to listen and help each other with issues (Just like friends should)

Partners should talk things through and not run off when things go bad (Just like friends)

Partners are understanding of each other and know how each other behave and react to things (Just like friends)

Partners are suppose to value each other equally (Just like friends)

You could say that the greatest partners in life are our friends. Cheesy I know, but if he runs off just because of something that wasn't your fault; and he doesn't want to hear you out (That to me sounds like he didn't value your friendship as much as you valued it)
Not true, you haven't lost me :P

There is a reason he should of understood why you said that. If you were truly friends he would of understood why you said that to him. Because he ignores you now and doesn't want to hear what you have to say, I think he is the reason you aren't friends any more. If he really liked you as a pal he would have taken the time to hear you out and not run away when things get tough. It wasn't your fault entirely. The best advice I can give is that you should always speak your mind and let nobody tell you that you can't. BUT, there are times when speaking your mind will get you into trouble. At those times you need to realise yourself that the best way forward without getting into trouble is to just keep it to yourself.
And people at School are greater than you? I thought not. Everyone is different, and they should learn that and accept you for who you are. And you aren't a bad person, you have a big heart :)
