Oh. Well, I never played the 3 games either. The one's I've played are Nexus and AC4 along with a bit of For Answer.
I never played Last Raven, unfortunately... I sort of had a falling out with AC after AC4 due to it's difficulty.
Stackpole does that with his characters too, now that I think of it. And the concentration on infantry with the ACs is a great idea. It would, as you stated, make the titanic machines seem like more than just walking tanks.
Well, I just read it and I must say I sure am impressed. Your way of writing actually much reminds me of a Star Wars fiction writer by the name of Micheal H. Stackpole. And he's good, which means you're just as good, if not better.
