I am a fan of Slipknot too, but their metal sounds too heavy for my ears... I prefer Linkin Park's nu-metal sound, because it seems more radio-friendly to my ears.
True. I believe that the four current members of the Rolling Stones are still well and alive. I think they are over 60 years old, or maybe even 70...
Some of the bands I like has at least one member who is dead, like Kurt Cobain from Nirvana, and the guy died young...

I myself like the new ones, like Foo Fighters, Linkin Park, Paramore, and etc.
There are some old bands that I like, like AC/DC, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Mr. Big. But the weird thing is, I like the modern version kind of rock. Weird, huh? -
