Scarlet is a good name. After all she was dressed in red and an old name for a prostitute was "scarlet woman".
Anyway in this in-game magazine it makes reference to wear scarlet in order to stand out in the crowd.( maybe a reference to the Fortuna woman?!)

Really, any female name that isn't already taken would do.

They can name her Dylan or Renesmee for all I care.

She doesn't have to be from Fortuna :sneaky::whistle:

Just call her Bianca (its basically means white in Italian).

I can't believe I'm agreeing with Gel of all people but Scarlet might be a nice name for Nero's mom.

I can't really think of any fitting female names from the Divine Comedy that would suit her that isn't already taken (Trish, Lucia, and Lady Mary already got the best ones). Also we really don't need to borrow from Divine Comedy anymore do we. Most characters in this series isn't even influenced by DC....like Nero.

@Stylish Nero
I know i was just joking around.

@tehrugger
Not really because she's not even a real character yet and the games never touched upon it.

The franchise as a whole is very Italian influenced. With names like Nero, Dante, Vergil, Enzo, Machiavelli, Nicoletta, and all of Fortuna and if its not then its English/British. I doubt they'll deviate from this naming convention especially for "NERO's" (literally Italian for black) mom.

I too vote for a name that is a shade of red. Since in DMC characters tend to be color coded. Dante is red, Vergil blue (now black with some blue), V is black, Trish is yellow, DMC4SE sort of associated Lady with pink but many can associate her with white (since white is pure like the Virgin Mary), Lucia......also white apparently but she doesn't really matter at the moment, Sparda purple, and Nero in 4 was blue and red but now is mostly rocking blue as this seems as indication of him taking up Vergil's role/legacy. With Dante potentially gone from the story (if Capcom has any balls) we will need a new red character to take that spot.

Nero's mom was seen wearing red....know who also is known to wear red.

And this is the DMCverse where characters seem to have slight Oedipus complex. Would not be surprised if Nero's mom bears some similarities to Eva (not like Trish maybe just some coincidences/similarities that Vergil notices...she doesn't have to be a blonde too).

Were did you see Nero s mother wearing red?

I m Italian and I don't really like the name bianca

Have you played Vergil's campaign in DMC4:SE?

If not, watch this
A woman watch at him but it's never stated That is Nero's mother... Yeah I played dmc 4:se just today

That woman is a generical woman that you can see in the first 2 mission of dmc 4

^There's probably a reason the camera focused on her for a few seconds...

Until proven otherwise, me and many other DMC fans will believe that woman is Nero's mother.

I think Capcom will give Nero's mother a more prominent appearance instead of just giving her a random woman appearance taken from their dmc 4 database

Could be her but i don't really think so
