(I am primarily referring to the 1969 cartoon show, but this could also be applied to the more recent ones.)
I only say this because, looking back on it, the show was basically about a group of people debunking myths.
Little to none of the antagonists were actually supernatural.
The "monsters" usually consisted of some scam-artist in a suit, very clever usage of technology, and peoples own paranoia.
Although, you could argue that them having a self-aware talking dog that can read and understand English, kinda ruins the whole "show for skeptics" premise.
