The Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas - came free with my phone on Google Books or whatever it's called and actually, I'm quite enjoying it. Having only ever seen Dogtanian and the Three Muskehounds as a child, it's somewhat different...

The Holy Bible NKJV.
Also  at the people who think King James wrote it himself.
Why would they think that? From what I understand, he just gave permission and some guidelines for the translators. He didn't write any of it himself.
That's like saying Henry VIII wrote the first English Bible himself. He didn't, he just got someone to do it for him and endorsed it for public use.

My guess would be when someone sees "King James' Version" they might automatically assume it's the author or something because King James was a real person.

I mean, The Message is written by Eugene Peterson and The Word On The Street by Rob Lacey - so it's not that bizarre for someone to perhaps think that a king from ages ago wrote his own version of the bible.

I dunno, I put it down to uneducated anti-religion kids getting involved in religious discussions between adults on youtube. It was pretty funny.
Do you have a link to the video so I can see these weird comments? Sometimes I do wonder about people when they come out with things like this. But I guess that's partly because they don't allow Christianity in mainstream schools anymore due to being seen as indoctrination. No wonder people jump to weird conclusions like that when they aren't taught anything about religion.

Then again, if someone is thinking that King James authored a Bible by himself, that could be down to just plain stupidity.

Anyway, what I'm reading right now is the prospectus for a school I'm about to TA at. Loving their ethos so far. I wish more schools were like this.

 No I don't. It's probably in my history somewhere but I'm fairly sure somebody quoted my reply to the comment (which was 'lol') and insulted me some or something. I don't go back to the videos I've commented on to avoid the responses (I write in a way that is either rhetorical or obviously is not an opening for a discussion, or in agreement with another comment). Unless I see in my alerts that it's someone whom I have seen eye to eye with, I ignore the comments entirely.

Quicksand House by Carlton Mellick III. Received it in the post yesterday and read it from start to finish in one go. I'm going to read it all over again today because I like it so much.

Harley Quinn #2 by Conner, Palmiotti, Hardin, and Roux. "Would you mind not humping the display?" LOL XD Also: Suicide Squad (2011+) #6 & #7 (I prefer Harley's origin in Mad Love, but Deadshot's reaction to the Joker face thing? That's a keeper.) and now onto Batman (1940-2011) #413. I hear a member of the Batfamily will die soon. Hmm.

Will resume LoTR once comics are done. ^^

Is the new Harley Quinn issue any good? I'm liking it so far.

I think it is. ^^ So far I've enjoyed all of the Harley issues, though...I'm curious if they intend on having a plot for it. *thinks it seems like they're a bunch of fun one shots, atm* I'm still trying to get used to all the costume changes in the new 52 stuff (like Ivy's o_O), though.

Just read it. I liked the issue. Sure, the plots seem a bit random, but that does fit in with Harley's personality. It's nice to see Ivy in there too. I wonder if this is going to become like the Gotham City Sirens series and have Catwoman appear in a few issues too? I wouldn't mind seeing that again.

*glad you liked it* I feel the same way about the plot, actually. I wonder if it'll end up like GCS, as well, but...looking at what the next few summaries on DC's site, I...have a feeling not. *really anxious to see what happens next, but hopes the series isn't as short as Gotham Girls*

I hope it's not as short too. The Suicide Squad is ending at issue 30, and without Harley's solo comic, we won't see much more of her otherwise...unless the Harley comic is going to lead into another comic series and have her be a part of that.

...It...it's ending at #30? D: NUUUUUUUU!!! *sobs* Gosh, I hope they'll do more comics with her in it. Then again, I might stop buying comics so often then, but still.... T-T
