If Nero was to come back, what would you see him as and what story to give him in DmC3?

What about the devil bringer? Or give him something else? I like the broadsword and magnum.

as its a different timeline i assume he wnt have the devil bringer so maybe instead id have him be able to shapeshift or use elemental attacks or something and have special abilities for the sword

I'd make him a cambion not necessarily a demon hunter since he tends to fight all races.

His dad Rodin's a demon but he is refugee from a demon war that his race was fighting for reasons he cant remember. Nero's demon race has a pack mentality so Nero's the leader of his age group. When he and Dante first meet he's like a skater punk with righteous indignation.

He's a bit more of a straighter edge on the moral compass and willing to be a hero and make a difference. He comes from a sheltered and normal background from Dante.

His fighting style is more based on martial arts than weapons at first and he mixes it up with his demon abilities which are more mental in nature.

I'd write him as a character of great melancholy and woe.

Living in a very religious society of occultists that worship the demon god Sparda, Nero wanders this expansive city known as Fortuna in the vain hope of escaping his demons by acting as a moral crusader, lending a helping hand to those under the oppression of the Order of the Sword and fueling an underground rebellion, attracting the attention of a becoming demon hunter in Limbo City, with his own problems.

This gives Ninja Theory and Capcom much to toy with. Keeping with DmC's themes of satire, this game would shift it's primary focus from politics and the media to the corruption of religious organizations and it's elitist followers. The Order of the Swords would be an ideal mockery of the Catholic Church, as long as it's done correctly. I'd rather Ninja Theory not make them seem like absolute scum, but add depth and differing perspectives as to not make this parody seem unfair and biased.

I like Nero being the son of a demon named Rodin. He'll be born from a human mother.

I bet the Order of the Sword would kidnap him for their experiments in creating nephilim. Even recreate those human half-breeds that have demonic blood in them.

For his story i would write him as a cambion who was in hiding when he was younger when his family was killed he was taken in by a full demon who was against mundus and taut demonic powers martial arts combat sword skills and fire arms skills. He used a part of his soul to forge his own sword. Upon hearing of mundus defeat he starts hunting demons who appear when the limbo veil is dropped. Over the next few years he builds up his skills and powers transforming his sword taking lots of jobs til he hears of an elite demon killing people and goes to investigate, this is where he meets dante. They fight and dante wins and out of acknowledgement and respect of dante's power he joins him. From there they build an army of cambions and angels taking down demon generals on the way before a final showdown with vergil his next in command another cambion and his demon army. After the fight they part ways and nero hears of a possible relative and sets out to find them.

That's a good idea. What about them trying to create their own nephilim out of Dante's DNA or blood?

Well, since they already pulled off the cocky arrogant Dante in DmC, I think if Nero were to enter the series, he would be the resolved kinda guy, maybe even being a devil hunter trying to kill Dante for his bloodline, then becoming his ally, like Hiei joing Yuusuke in Yu Yu Hakusho after attempting to kill him several chapters previous.
I don't think they'd want to pull the DMC Nero personality again, simply because Dante already had it to begin with, basically making Nero a cloned Dante. Just some speculation

If they do bring him into DmC, I want him as he was in DMC4 with a splash of maturity eg. not shooting his mouth off at every turn.
Just to make everyone go 0_0 WHY THEY NO CHANGE NEMO?
And if they do bring him into DmC, I hope it's for miniscule, happen to spot him in the background scenarios instead of giving him a role to play. Tease the majority of fans just to tick them off. Give an ounce of fan-service to the Nero lovers. But don't change him, or integrate him into the story. They've already done well with turning Vergil into a pansy and Dante into a drone, I don't even want to think what they'd do to Nero considering all the views on him as is are mostly negative.

Id liek if he had some major role in a new game though

I rather he not go through the same path as Dante so I guess this could happen to one of his friends. It spurs him into action and starts off the quest.

Okay...?

Dante and Nero will have their separate quests but will fight each other first then work together against Sanctus.

If Dante gets involved in helping with the Order of the Sword's "false" problems, where does that lead Nero? Does Nero know something is rotten and Dante doesn't even know it? Dante will be deceived into thinking Nero is their enemy.

Oh! And Nero knows Kyrie is in danger.
