Just a topic for a bit of fun.
If you could insert yourself into any cartoon, anime, book, movie or TV show, which one would it be and why?

For me, I'd want to hang around in the Mass Effect games. The universe is so well made, has so many worlds with different cultures to explore and people to meet. However, I would like to do this when there are no Reapers or Collectors running around killing everything.
I'd also make it my goal to annoy the Illusive Man, pal around with Jack, and see Tali get drunk with her 'emergency induction port':lol:

Virtua Quest.

Which is too bad, because although the game is horrible, I actually really like it because you're a "normal" guy meeting Virtua Fighter characters. And you fight with them.

Imagine if you yourself got to fight against Dante. I'd buy that for a dollar.

As for me, I'd like to meet the Persona 4 cast.

Also because I can become Patty's bff just so I can hang around Dante's place without him putting a restraining order against me. Only in the anime. There's no way I'd get near his office in the games. And I like anime Dante best out of the lot. Personality wise anyway.

The world of Ratchet & Clank. The whole universe of Ratchet & Clank is homicidal, humorous, whimsical, beautiful, interesting, chaotic, ridiculous, and plain stupid. Who wouldn't want to live there? Sure, you might end up living in a world with a high death rate, which almost any fictional and nonfictional world has, but at least your death would be more interesting than "hit by a car". No, instead, it'd be "hit by a snowman, fell down miles off a skyscraper, shot up by a crazed Agorian, teleported onto a comet, and then die after being turned into an explosive monkey", or "Mr. Zurkon". Also, Ratchet, Clank, and even Nefarious and Qwark would be awesome friends/frienemies.

That or the world of Super Mario or maybe Kirby. Both have whimsical worlds even if you're not one of the main characters. The world of inFAMOUS would be interesting if you had powers, but then you'd be persecuted and hunted down. If you didn't have powers, well, it'd be like everyday life. Mirror's Edge would be cool and I would love to be a runner leaping building after building. The world of the Legend of Zelda would be mundane if you weren't Link, Ganondorf, or Zelda or any important character. Sure, you got your Gorons, Zoras, Deku Shrubs, and fairies, but that would be like normal life in the world of Zelda.

Pretty much any Final Fantasy, the Tales, The Witcher, or any RPG would be fair game for a magical world. RPGs are supposed to draw players in, so their worlds tend to be well-created and engaging. The only issue is whether or not something wants to murder the world which tends to happen in RPGs.

I would not want to live in the world of Metal Gear. It'd be one of the worst worlds, for me besides any horror-related media, since life would be really creepy. I mean, you have AI's watching over you all the time. Cyborgs, war, and the economy are getting out of hand. Really long monologues that would kill you. Lots of crazy people capable of killing you in a blink of an eye. Being a civilian would be scary. Being a soldier would be hell. My life as a grunt would probably involve death, getting caught by Solid Snake or Big Boss, death, being sliced up by Raiden, death, dealing a guard with IBS, more death, getting knocked out, more and more death, having C4 or any explosives planted on me, even more death, getting stomped on (accidentally) by a GECKO, even more and more death, being sniped by a pretty lady, so much death, stabbed and violated by a creepy vampire, and did I mention death?

Edit: Forgot about this. The world of Avatar: The Last Airbender. It would so cool to having the ability to bend one of the four elements. Heck, even if I couldn't it'd still be amazing to watch benders.

I think jak and daxter since its a series close to my heart. I would imagine DoA but then i gotta deal ninjas and **** but the girls could be worth it.

I think I want to be dropped right into J.R.R Tolkien's Mythopoeia, mainly the Silmarillion. I want to hang around bad ass Fëanor and his seven sons, help them hunt down the silmarils, learn valuable skills from them etc. I would also happily run off with Maedhros, Maglor or Celegorm into the sunset (anyone of those will do really). I would love a shot at killing king douche Elu Thingol and his Mary sue luthien, sack Doriath and off Melian the maia while I'm at it (that whole family just irritated me). Watching Fingolfin take on Morgoth would also be another amazing sight. Lastly I would like to back hand Turin and maybe kill him off as well to lessen all the suffering he caused (ugh I couldn't stand that guy and while I tend to give some shady elves a free pass, he's no elf). Hmmm all this writing about sacking and killing makes me sound like a Feanorian through and through I guess :/..... If I lived anywhere then it would probably be Nargothrond under king Finrod because he seemed like a swell friend to have and Gondolin just sounded like a pretty gilded cage.

I also loved the world of Mass effect and would love to visit it but if anything happened like at the end of the third game then count me out <.<. I would definitely adopt Grunt or a baby Krogan like him (they're all so cute). I could also see myself being Tali's and Mordin' s bff.

Shin Muramasa above me also mentioned the The Witcher world which I love as well but I would only want to visit if I was guaranteed a get out of jail free card. The politics and life itself in the novels and games are just brutal.

Yeah, I'm a dork but please don't judge me ok.

For Anime: Black Butler would be awesome. Just the whole setting is nice and the characters would be fun to mess with.
Bleach Just so I can become a Soul Reaper and be a captain or something.
Attack on Titian. Jumping around on those 3d maneuver things and killing titans and being badass.

For Games: Any Final Fantasy game. Being able to sling spells and beating those annoying emo gits. Fun times.
Legend of Zelda. Running around in the fields of Hyrul and randomly breaking into peoples house and breaking their things.

Haruhi Suzumiya: for religious reasons. oh and also because Tsuruya and Yuki
K-On!: because Houkago Tea Time being real would be the best thing ever.
Azumanga Daioh: Because Osaka and Sakaki.

Mahou Sensei Negima: because to many reasons to list.

Wow, this is a hard question. ._. First off: I wanna be in Fable. I could die happily if I got to be in Fable for real for just five minutes (and that's probably how long I'd survive, too, what with all the creatures in Albion...). I'd also like to be in Batman/Teen Titans cuz OMG superpowers and OMG Deathstroke. <3 Uh...uh...hmm. As much as I like DMC, I don't think it's a world I'd do well in, though it would be fun to be one of the MCs. (On that note, I'd also like to be Bayonetta. =D) On the book end of things...plop me into a Gothic romance or any kind of Victorian Lit and I'd be a happy penguin, yes sir I would. *nodnod* Ooooh, and I'd like to be in the Darkside novels (Vendetta, Vendetta! :shifty: ) and...maybe Harry Potter; I dunno, being around while Voldemort was around might be kinda...dangerous. Oh, and Death Note. Because of L. And Mello. And Matt. And cuz I wanna kill Light. But mainly L. Woot! :lol:

I'll join too! Near is so bland and boring. Plus he takes credit for all the hard work L did. >_< I say we bury him in a pile of dominos and make it look like an accident.

As for other things I'd want to be in:

Legend of Korra/ Aang: Firebending looks so cool, plus I love how well the avatar world is designed. I wouldn't mind trying Agni Kai so long as it wasn't against Azula or Ozai.

Any of the Final Fantasy games, again because of how the worlds are so interesting.

Generator Rex: It would be cool to have nanobots inside me so that I could turn my arms into machines, or any of the other cool mutations that could happen. Plus, I wouldn't mind working for the Providence organization.

And if anyone has ever heard of a show called Huntik, I'd like to hang around there too. They go on historical exploration adventures and find monsters to fight for them while fighting rival groups. Plus the lead guy is called Dante

And finally Dethklok/ Metalocalypse: It's a show about a death metal group, band dynamics and extreme celebrity life. I wouldn't mind palling around with the guys in the band and joining in their weird adventures.
