I can relate to that
Being at university, the holidays are long. So I make myself have a routine during the holiday, and try to meet up with as many friends as possible so I'm not just sitting around the house feeling bored.
That Ariel Castro case...that dude ain't eva leavin' prison. Man I had to turn the channel from all of those counts the judge is sounding off with.
Time, please go faster...I wanna go swimming....

I like your posts sometimes but I haven't been too active lately...CT: My gran died of blood cancer and I'd only met her twice. My dad was adopted so I never got to know his real parents, I wish I had now. :/ At the same time I'm glad I didn't know her because it means I don't feel so much pain from the loss.
More positive CT of what to do next: Watch Shingeki No Kyojin (If that's how you spell it,) because everyone talks about it on here, and the artwork looks awesome.

Just had to double check from some morbid curiosity who that couple on the BBC news were who starved and killed their own son in Coventry. I swear, the little boy looked so familiar and I used to live right next to a Pole couple like this in my apartment block who had a young blond child but I never learned their names. I think I passed his school a lot as well... The man looks familiar, but I couldn't say about the woman.
A couple used to live like right next to me in my block on the top floor in Cov, sometimes the screaming and shouting was so bad I thought the parents were trying to kill each other. I have a huge problem with this in front of little kids because I got that all through my childhood as well and it affects kids... so I totally went on out there and started some **** with them, and told them if they didn't STFU and stop sounding like there was murder in there, I was going to call the police in immediately and not quit till they turned up. But I was doing it more for the little kid who was in there with them, they would pipe the hell down in front of him, or if he was in some kind of danger of being drawn into it.
I don't think this was the same couple but they look real familiar somehow. I had to look twice to make sure. I guess even if this couple were similar, and if I had called the police (because they did finally shut up after I confronted them) if there WAS any danger to the kid, nobody would act. The case on the BBC says loads of people including teachers saw that the boy was thin and police and social services were involved and he still ended up dead. It almost sounds like they killed him intentionally because he had learning difficulties so they wouldn't have to deal with him.
It even says the neighbors heard the boy screaming in the night and "thought he was having nightmares". Maybe I'm just a bit more distrustful in general of others but Jeez, wouldn't it be worth actually checking that **** out? Instead of passing it off as something as banal as 'nightmares'? What's wrong with people? We have a culture of "not interfering"? I wish someone had "interfered" during my childhood. That's why this stuff makes me extremely angry. "Oh, oh, we didn't know, we didn't imagine", that's all you ever hear when there's a suicide or a murder. Didn't wanna get involved more like.
