I got annoyed they never had clean Vergil as an alternate costume for that game.
I'm also annoyed they didn't give us two clean Vergil XP but we can't have everything I guess.

I think they meant to have clean Vergil as a costume for sure, because the whole model and animations are in the archetypes file for him, but I think someone is a little too concerned with narrative continuity or something at ninja theory. Like god forbid how it would break the "logic" if you suddenly had Vergil with clean clothing. As for the double doppelgangers, if you notice in the video, the game sometimes mistakes who the real Vergil is, so that might be one of the reasons it was coded the way it was, but most likely it was probably console graphics limitations.
