Hi everyone angels and demons
I know is too much early for a new DmC announcement, but honestly i was hoping to see a trailer of new Devil may cry chapter (original or reebot) at the E3...

If not, there's always TGS this year.^_^
I just think its way too soon. They still plan on extending potential sales of DmC before announcing as sequel. It's only 40 dollars right now, the next sales push will be either a special edition or a drop to 20 dollars. I think if by the end of the year the game has sold or shipped over 2 million copies we'll be in good shape for a sequel.
I think we have to wait 1 or 2 years to see if Capcom still has plans for this series.

A new spin off game of DmC got announced at E3 today:
The Adventures of Kat & Her Beloved Trashcan
The game follows after the events of DmC, where Kat goes on an eco friendly campaign on cleaning up both Limbo City and encourages recycling amongst civillians still walking around in disarray after learning the tiny little fact that demons exist and are eating all the hamsters.
Details:
-Kat is the main character [duh!]
-Swords and guns are replaced with trashbags and air-fresheners
-Trashcans, lots of trashcans
-Dante will make a cameo as a drunk, struggling to cope with his brother being an asshole
-Vergil will also make a cameo as a sociopath, struggling to cope with his brother being an asshole
Released date not yet know, game is still in development...

SOURCE: Capcom's plotting a DLC avalanche - Destructoid![]()
Like most "AAA" publishers, Capcom is finding itself in a market no longer capable of meeting its extravagant financial expectations. At a time where even a game selling five million copies is considered a failure, the company has one answer -- an avalanche of DLC!
Capcom's forecast revisions are centered around an upgraded downloadable content strategy, to the point where it's no longer interested in making games that can't offer buckets of extra stuff sold piecemeal. It reports that it's "strictly re-evaluated" projects currently in progress, in order to have them comply with this new plan.
Indeed, the company has placed the blame for its recent underperformance entirely at the feet of its slow adoption of the "digital contents market," which is ironic when you consider how lambasted the company is for adopting that market so shamelessly...
I say bring it on. I'd actually like an avalanche of additional downloadable content for DmC.
DLC RECITE
+ Bloody Palace
+ Vergil Downfall

2 DLCs

Doubt Capcom would release any more dlc for DmC.
I wouldn't mind more DLC's actually for DmC, would be cool...maybe a shirtless DLC costume as well? *drools*I say bring it on. I'd actually like an avalanche of additional downloadable content for DmC.
Was just trying to troll people but i did a miserable job.I'm only quoting the article you posted. Either they're going to follow that policy or they're not....
Because putting out two dlc is hardly what I would call an avalanche of DLC, and indicative of a policy that should be criticized.
I'm not sure what point you were trying to make with that link.
