Question about Item Finder perk.

I bought the Item finder perk today and I can't seem to figure it out. What kind of noise am I looking out for?

It's a high pitched sounding beep, almost like a radar. It works when you're quite close to the item.

...interesting because VD won't seem to let me use either the Orb Harvestor or the item finder perks...

No it doesn't. They're perks from Dante's alternate weapons. Vergil can't use them.

I think it just works for keys and lost souls.

Eh, it beeps for locked Mission doors as well, or at least did for my game.

It beeped when i was near a locked door and it also beeped in VD when i played

I had it beep in Vergil's Downfall, but only at one random point. None other >.<

A bomb.
I couldn't get mine to work in VD either.

My cousin had bought VD and had left the market-place screen for DmC up. Her younger toddler-brother seized the controller and proceeded to hit random things. Turns out he bought the item finder, and she didn't even know...

The next day she called me, screeching about random noises in the main game and VD.

I told her that I didn't know what it was and left her to suffer. :troll:

She went mad.
