As some of you know, Stomp can be cancelled out of to either gain/lose height. But you can actually cancel out certain parts of the animation. You could either cancel out the stomp animation completely so you can lower yourself towards the ground extremely fast or you can cancel out Dante's descent from Stomp by using E&I and Revenant. Could be done with Kablooey too, not sure since I haven't tested it out that thoroughly.


I'll probably do a few more tests with it later on.
 
You can also do similar height gain with Fireworks/Shotgun canceling. Hmm, Kablooey/Stomp canceling sounds pretty interesting.
 
Well I meant as in substituting stomp there with the typical shotgun blast in your first demonstration in the vid. Stomp/Fireworks looks faster, but I doubt I could get the rhythm down going back and forth from Demon stance.

Ah, well in that case, it won't gain much height. I tried it recently and It didn't really do much.
