I read an article describing new, yet unseen enemy types...

"...dog-monkey-things to claw at our hero. Eventually, a boss fight ensued with a pair of porcupine-lizard hybrids who worked together to kill Dante. When Dante killed one, the other got extremely angry. It stopped recoiling from attacks, lit itself on fire, and generally wasn’t a happy camper."

What do you think of these (short) descriptions and what kind of enemies and combat situations would you like to see in the game?

interesting. but where did you find this?

Dog/Monkey, Porcupine/Lizards? My first thought of Avatar heheh
cannot really give straight answer without seeing them. But i really like the art direction and these enemies do not seem as mechanical as the ones we've seen already. So hopefully they will at least look more menacing

and where did you get this info?

Maybe the statue is Lilith, like wallenb said.

Second, the GameTrailers hands-on preview confirms that "The level eventually ends with more of a dark and blue-ish palate and against a pair of particularly difficult foes that require a hyper-specific strategy." And the G4 interview noted "two enemies that work surprisingly intelligently as a tandem pair."

hmm..
Does anyone think they are taking "make this game hard" literally? I'm sure new comers to the series are going to have a hard time with Poison, hence EVERY gameplay demo that was shown got their asses handed to them for the most part.
I like a hard game, but not Dark souls hard.

hmm but then it wouldn't be called "the secret" my guess it could be something small on eva or the order.

Im not sure but i think Tameem said that they are making the game hard at first then dumbing it down instead of the other way around. Plus the game should still have multiple difficulties so if normal is too hard you will most likely still have easy mode and if that is still too hard automatic mode will probably still be there too.
