Anyone else notice the few references in the new demo feed?

If you pause around 0:15, look at the car's license plate. It's kinda hard to see with their watermark in the way but I have an "easier to see" version.

Not only this but if you look at the guys shirt at 0:19 it's marked with a big 5. Can you guys spot anything else?

I think what we have here is the 5th mission in the game, and this being the opening cutscene, like DMC 3 has hidden numbers at the beginning of the cutscenes

True I remeber DMC3 and missons openings as I played commonly called crappy PC port. Well fourth game never had this addition or i missed that not closedly watching all cutscenes, well seeing this in trailer almost maded me to reget memories of DMC 3.

If anyone could make out the graffiti that would be nice. It's been around since the game was first previewed almost two years ago, so I imagine there's something there worth studying.

I know most of his moves have retained their old names (Prop, Shredder, the Rebellion combos); but now Million Stab is Trillion Stab.

But this demo seems to have fewer references to past games than the other trailers had...

How do you know the move names, haz u been stalkin da developers again.

I forgot to mention something.

In the beginning of the prototype for part 2 of this demo ("The Fight"), we hear a radio announcer--probably Bob Barabas--talking about Dante attacking a factory.
I would continually hear it called the "Virility Factory" and not have a single idea what to make of it.
But now I know it's the name of a sports drink.

Also, the first two letters of Virility are "VI".

I can guess that it'll be chapter six in the game.

But The Fight is a prototype version of the Captivate Demo, and the 5 in the guy's shirt indicates Chapter 5 much more than VI indicates chapter 6 lol

Just before the end of this video: http://www.gametrailers.com/video/captivate-2012-dmc-devil/728890
Dante strikes a pose that is kinda similar to how OrigiDante is posed on the DMC3 boxart :O

not to be rude but i feel as though you're over analyzing the pose ,as well as other people. Just cause he hits that pose doesn't necessarily mean that NT are trying to make a connection or reference to DMC 3. That pose is the most generic "sword guy" pose in all of gaming. Every person with a sword hits that pose sooner or later.

She just said the poses were similar, she wasn't overanalyzing it.
