The Thread of Tonks

Very much like Dani and BD's threads. This is where I will dump all my short works that are a product of my overactive imagination and very short attention span.

So....to get things started, how about some poetry?

A POEM ABOUT POEMS

Today the teacher said to me,
"You will be writing poetry."
My classmates cheered, I heaved a sigh
I felt that I would surely die
'Cause I can't seem to find the time
To sit and think of things that rhyme

For instance, what word rhymes with orange?
There's floarnge, and doarnge and soarnge and boarnge
But these words are of little use,
Unless, of course, you're Dr. Seuss

So I crumpled up my little poem,
Then threw it out, and went straight home
'Cause I can't seem to find the time
To sit and think of things that rhyme
---
Turned that in for a poetry assignment :lol:

I don't think poetry needs to have a rhyme in it though.

I checked him up, you know that not all people come from the US right? I have my fair share of culture from my country from when I was a child. <.<

We're practically force-fed everything from the US. That's why all the people from my country who make names for themselves, eg. Charlize Theron (The Italian Job), Billy Zane (Titanic), and Shaun Morgan from Seether, do it in America.
And I thought we were conquered by the British :dry:
I do not like green eggs and ham. I do not like them Sam I am!

Back on topic - that poem deserves an A++ Tonks XD It was really good!

I dunno why I'm on a poetry hype lately...I suppose the rhyming tree from Dragon Age inspired me xD

Anywho, I figured I'd go through the trouble of putting up a revamped version of the story I whined about forever ago. I think the very few who have read it will notice (and hopefully like >.<) the differences xD

So once chapter one's all finished up I'll be sure to put it up! ^_^

Long time, no see for this thread. So~

A picture of Kovu, from the Lion King 2, that I drew on a wooden circle. It was supposed to be a wood burning, but I failed so hard at wood burning that my art teacher let me paint over the monstrosity and draw on the back.

I'd like to know what you guys think of it, really.

Okay, so this is the pumpkin I carved for Halloween. I know it's really basic, but I worked too hard with my vampire pumpkin last year so I just wanted an easy one xD
