Six years in the making and one of the most delayed games of todays generation but also one of the most highly anticipated ones has finally gone gold and has received a release date!
The announcement was made by THQ executive vice president Kelly Flock at the companys Gamers Day event, which was held at a nightclub in San Francisco. Originally known as 'Oblivion Lost' S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl was announced by Ukrainian developer GSC Game World 6 years ago & instantly amazed gamers with the ideas that were put into it such as living & realistic Radiant AI of not just humans but wildlife and the eco system, the multiple paths through the game and overall freedom of the game. After some major ups and downs during production and many bugs and problems it is finally on its way to shops on March 20th!
