Since posting in the Social group board will take years due to the annoying limit,I'll post it here :
The controler layout will be in two versions : A PS3/Xbox360 one and a PSP/3DS one.I guess the playable characters will be Nero and Dante so I'll get a basic moveset ready for them.I'm not good with names,so I'll leave that to you guys.Here is the basic version :

Dante
This time Dante will not have an elemental motif in his weapons.Instead,he will be presented with a card motif that will handle the element work on his weapons[even firearms].This can be used in various methods and it will result in different attack animations and perhaps a different attack/more complete version of the attack.
The system pays tribute to Megaman Zero[with the attacks,especially 2,3,4],Castlevania : Circle of the Moon,Kamen Rider Blade and Ryuki and finally,one of Toshiyuki Morikawa's[Dante's seiyuu] roles,Nambu Kyosuke.During the complete versions of the attacks,the references to Kyosuke will be more apparent since Dante will say things like : "This is my trump card." or "The Joker is flipped."
Dante's weapons in this game will be :
Rebellion
Ebony and Ivory
Shotgun Ver.Devil[a faster shotgun with a gimmick]
A gunblade styled weapon[takes both guns and swords position](name needed)
A pair of swords[Claymores by prefernce](name needed)
A pair of ninja Scythes connected by the same chain(name needed)
A pair of armour[Gauntlets,shinguards,gloves,boots]Ok...here goes.(I was thinking of "Arcturus")
A pair of Whips that can combine and can also split the main part into thousand threads[name needed,but I thought of "The Emishi"]
Dante will no longer have styles per se.Instead he will have styles in a..."tree form"[yet unlike the whole "tree" as in WOW,there won't be any need to get certain skills in order to unlock new ones^_^].There will be four branches :
Swordsmaster
Gunslinger
Trickster
Royalguard
and more than 16 twigs or "combination branches".The tree can be reset at any time,but the points kept and the skills unlocked remain there.It is possible for the player to fully master one style and half of another.However the player can be more versatile and unlock more hidden skills,the so called "combination branches".
An example of a combination branch would be this :
Dante has "purchased" Twosome time and it's follow-up Honeycomb Fire,mastered those two[via orbs] and has purchased a move for the scythes and it's crazy follow up along with mastering it.It is possible now to completely discard those two moves and their follow ups to unlock a hidden move that is a mix of those two.This is a "combination branch."
The cards availiable for Dante are Salamander[Fire],Zeus/Alastor[Thunder],Afroditi[Water],Boreas[Ice],Asura[Metal],Lucifer[Light],Fudo My'Oh[Dark] and Shenlong[Wind].
This time the Devil Trigger will be more like in DMC1[Varied appearances] but it will have some common points like in DMC3.The body proportions,face and hair remain unchanged during all the DTs.Also the aura during DT will be absent,unless a Devil Arm has a card equiped.Then the aura will take the respective colour and ocasionally indicate signs of the element.[Samll swirling fire for Fire,lightning sparks for thunder,cold air for Ice,swirling water for Water,dark aural hands for Dark,light rays for Light,metalic dust for Metal and visible wind for Wind].
The DT will not be as varied as in DMC4 thought.The atatcks will be stronger and faster but that's about it.Unless the Devil Arm has an element then Dante can perform a Devil attack fe. : in human form Dante excecutes a Stinger with thunder equiped.The Rebellion will be engulfed in lightning.During DT not only the sword but his whole body will be engulfed in lighning and will have an additional DT effect.[The DT effects are burn for Fire,paralyze the target and deal extra damage to the surroundings for thunder,freeze the surroundings for Ice,deal extra hits on the surroundings and the target for Wind,slow down for water,deal X3 damage for Metal,deal Defence down to the target and the surroundings for Light and steal life for Dark].
Not all attacks get a DT effect.They must be elementally correct and the player must be in DT.The Rebellion is the most versatile for Elemental DT effects.Experiment away.

Nero
Our friend Nero will return but not without changes.This time he adopts three different fighting styles :
The White Knight Style
The Devilish Defender Style
The Black Joker/Red Spade Style
The White Knight Style focuses on his human weapons and his moveset from DMC4 with the Exceed moves etc.No DT for this style.He is using the weapons with his left hand.
The Devilish Defender Style focuses purelly on Nero's Devilish power and the Devil Arms he will wield.Here the Devil Bringer is slightly stronger and can perform Busters.Also Dt is availiable.He is using his weapons with his right hand here.
The Black Joker/Red Spade Style focuses on the mix of the above two styles to bring a totally different style.Wielding both human weapons[left hand] and Devil arms[right hand],Nero is able to bring out his full potential as an ambidexterous person.In this mode there is no Exceed.There is Dt and the Busters can only be done during DT.

Axe/tomahawk hybrid[human weapon](name and element needed)

His Dt this time will be a bit fiercer looking and will be able to do more,like fly towards the opponent and grab him or do an extra slash should the player hold the melee button long enough during a combo and finally,fire spirit bullets while Nero fires from a Devil fire-Arm.The only downside to his DT is that it can't manifest the spirit forms of human weapons.
