If we're going with DmC's combat system...wouldn't Demon weapons have to be slow and powerful and Angel weapons be fast and have great range?

Okay I saw 3 demon weapons, 3 angel weapons, and 3-4 guns....this time around along with Rebellion.
Okay demon weapons:
1. A Hammer with a Fist on it.
2. Giant Claws
Like this but a bit larger and well more demonic (red)
3. Giant Shurikens
He can throw them for long range attacks similar to the axe and they spin while use for striking close range attacks.

I know that this is a thread about Angel and Demon weapons but might as well through in a few guns too yah.
Okay outside E&I and a Shot Gun.
I have 2 weapons
1. Missile Arrow
Yes a bow that shoots missiles (functions similar to Pandora that it can change shape and functionality like shift to multi-shot mode where it shoots multiple missiles like those moves from Pandora and Kalina-Ann). Its missile arrows can even pierce the heavens.
2. Flamethrower
A flamethrower that spews flames as hot as hell (hell fire basically which is hotter than the sun) and made from a rare demonic metal that can withstand this heat. It can mold the flames to come out in anyway (fire balls, large stream of flames, and even a full charged fire blast)

Originally no but after I read my post then I was thinking okay.
I originally posted it because of how I was planning on to make the missile arrow/bow have an angelic nature.

How about giving Dante new weapons that are ordinary looking weapons infused with nephilim energy? Once Dante triggers into devil or angel forms, his weapons change as well according to the form he's in.

Too many weapons.
A yari and a Halberd wouldn't be that much different from Osiris.
Hatchet Axe forms are what he already has.
A yoyo.....
Instead of adding too many weapons they should try and optimize the move list/controls for the weapons that exist, change or add more attacks/abilities and maybe add 2 or 3 new weapons. Just my thoughts.

This is actually cool, Ronin!
In fact, the sword part would be for the DmC Rebellion if empowered with either Angel or Devil energy.
For the instrument however, for the Devil-powered, I would prefer if it's like heavy metal style!
My turn to add weapons now:
Dual Swords
- Devil: Dual Falchions
- Angel: Dual Katanas (ala Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Ninja Gaiden II/Sigma 2, and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge)
Excellent gun/ranged weapon ideas, SN! But I'd like to add these babies that are guns:
Assault Rifle with underslung 40mm Grenade Launcher (I'm sure some of you know this weapon and its underslung grenade launcher)
Normal gun fire ([]) - full-auto bullet fire
Special gun fire ([]+X) - fire underslung grenade launcher
But I can go for these designs:

In devil mode, it becomes an axe in knuckle gloves like a boxer.
In angel mode, it becomes a scythe and shurikens.
So why not in the sequel, Dante's sword becoming arbiter, osiris & ophion will be kept in the concept. And if Dante gets more human allies willing to fight the demons, they make Dante certain weapons for his powers to shapeshift them into. That includes firearms they can make for him to infuse his energy into them.
They make a staff, gauntlets + leg guards, chain & an instrument.
