What the hell is this Disaster Gauge?

umm, its the little purple(?)bar that comes up when you're using the Pandora weapon with Dante. You fill it up using certain actions, then when it fills up, new actions become available. there's an article somewhere here that explains it more clearly, but thats pretty much the basics of it.
