As early as January, we already know Dead Space 2 will have a sequel not only because its storyline requires one but also because pundits revealed that EA uses DS2’s reception on the masses if they should proceed on creating Dead Space 3 – gaining an average score of 9/10 across the gamingsphere.
As of today, we’re pleased to inform you that the first real leak about Dead Space 3 is now revealed. Particularly, about its new story and plot. Likewise, this may sound like a spoiler for those who still haven’t played DS2 so feel free to skip this page now.
To begin with, you should know Isaac Clarke will still be the main protagonist of the game and the story will be after the events that took place on his last mission with the previous game. This time, he’ll be haunted by a second personalityhinted as “his evil side”.
The reason why he’s having this split-personality is still being concealed, but theories suggest his exposure to alien tech or his previous mental breakdown may have trigger these manifestations.
Interestingly, it appears you’ll be able to play this second-character on Dead Space 3 and you’ll be switching from time to time with the real you. It’s also revealed this alter-side of Isaac is somewhat loquacious and likes to diss the real one from his past mistakes.
Your objective will be about visiting an “icy planet” to help solve some of the mysteries bugging your mind and to avoid getting arrested connected to your last mission.
There’s no word about its release but EA is still working on its story for now.
