Bethesda have been reading the feedback on a major bug in the expansion for the hugely acclaimed Elder Scrolls Oblivion Expansion 'The Shivering Isles'. Apparently the bug occurred as soon as Shivering Isles was installed, and was linked to object IDs and caused newly created objects in the game world to disappear.
But Bethesda were quickly on top of this and have just released a patch for it available on their official site:

Despite many reports that the same bug happens on the Xbox 360 version of Shivering Isles, Bethesda said yesterday it's not been able to replicate it and hasnt found any evidence of this themselves but they are investigating and hopefully a patch will be available over Xbox Live shortly
