Well at least its a robust and detailed training mode that rivals even fighting games. I was always hoping for a training mode akin to Anarchy Reigns training mode (and low and behold its basically just like it although I think Anarachy Reigns allowed you to have multiple enemies in the training mode at once lets hope DMC5 does that too....or not 1 is actually enough really). I never found Bayonetta's training mode all that useful and DmC's while better was pretty basic. Plus the Void is more pleasant to look at especially since its one big Berserk reference.

Seriously? Who's the artist/band? They didn't say anything about the lyrics either.
The instrumentals stay the same, the vocal track will be redone by Michael Barr, as it says in the article.

Screaming in this song was done by him
But he also does this kind of stuff

@berto
Can you move those posts into the general discussion thread? Since this is the news one and I don't want to clutter it with personal posts, hope I'm not being a bother with this, so yeah sorry for that.

I believe that's the wrong Michael Barr.

Speaking of seeing others in action, you may have noticed a couple of scenes in the trailer where Nero, Dante and V fight demons alongside each other. That is our brand-new cameo system, made specifically to complement Devil May Cry 5’s single player gameplay. Here’s how it works:

The game is primarily a single player experience, but director Itsuno-san and the team really wanted to tell an epic story with three distinct perspectives and play-styles, where the main protagonists run into each other and collaborate from time to time. So to make that a reality, they’ve implemented a system where, while connected to the Internet, players will make guest cameo appearances in each other’s games in real time, or through ghost data gameplay recordings. Depending on the mission, you’ll see another player in the background, but in other cases, you’ll actually be slicing and dicing demons side-by-side with another players!

Again, our focus is in providing a single player experience like no other, so this cameo system also ensures the experience is always smooth as possible with no downtime.

V, The Mysterious One
Book and cane in hand, this slender man appears covered in impressive tattoos. Before chaos fell upon Red Grave City, he sought out Dante through the information broker Morrison and tasked him to subdue a certain demon. V lacks the power to fight himself, instead relying on three demon familiars to take the offensive in battle.

Shadow & Griffon
V's combat potential is practically nonexistent, so he relies on these demons to lay waste to his foes—Shadow for close combat, and Griffon for ranged attacks. Once these two lay on enough pain, it's up to V to put his enemies to rest with his trusty cane.

Nightmare
V can unleash his full power to call upon this gargantuan demon.
When summoned, Nightmare may crash onto the battlefield like a meteorite, or burst through parts of the environment to heed the call. Its sluggish movements belie unsurpassable strength and nigh-invulnerability. Wherever Nightmare appears, its massive fists or brutal laser beams are the last thing enemies ever see.
