How can there be so much hate for such a great game . Me and my buddies love this game we love the combat,dante and vergil,the story .preety much everyhing about it in all truth. And the old school haters could really ruin it all for ths series witch is a total bummer. Like come on, vergil and dante being half demon and half angel kicks ass.lets see wat the future has in store for dante vergil and kat . Btw do you think as its a reeboot ,diffrent things mite happen,like vergil makes up with dante and teams up again. And for f**k sakes keep nero out of it aha .

Oh, if there's no sequel I'll be so sad, but so happy that DmC ever happened in the first place. Amazing game.

Yeah, I sure hope no one's hoping a sequel to keep referring back to the originals. DmC's its own game, now- wouldn't it be so much more awesome to see completely new characters and circumstances? Now that they don't have to do so much pandering to old fans, it will be interesting to see what emerges from the world they've created.

I enjoyed this game a lot. But then again, everyone is going to have different viewpoints, especially the classic DMC fans. I really hope they do make another DmC game. FYI, as I mentioned on another thread, Capcom and NT are in talks to create another DmC game read it in an article.

I hope that Nero isn't in future DmC projects either

Yea honestly i think the game is fantastic. The combat isnt nearly as simple as people make it out to be. lets be honest here: im getting real tired of everyone acting like truestyle wanabes and being all "the combat is simple herp derp." when the truth is that while the "ceiling" is a little lower than 3 and 4 only the people who completly mastered the combat in those games will suffer and thats only about 2% of everyone who played the old DMCs. im refering to guys like chasertech for example. guys like him or kail, or anyone who made it deep into the truestyle tournaments has ANY right to compain about the combat.

Yeah, I would love to see a sequel to this and I would be pretty ****ed with it just left hanging in mid-air. I had a lot of fun with this game and to me having fun is one of the most important aspects of a game.

Although I would love for them to change things up a bit I'm not sure If I would like to see Vergil become good. Maybe an anti hero? or just have him realize his mistakes right before he drops dead? eh, I'm not much of a story writer so idk.

I would love it if they made a sequel. It almost sounds like they were planning on it because of the open ending. I'd really hate for it to end up like my favorite game, where they gave a hint at a possible sequel, actually started it, and then gave it up.

Yeah anti hero would be good . Dont want him to die in this series though

To me it looked like they made DmC with a sequel in mind since the end leaves on a pretty big cliffhanger( what happens in the world now that demons are out in the open?) so im expecting one instead of hoping they decide to make one. Unless they plan to explain what happens through dlc(hope thats not the case) then i expect a DmC 2.

Well, we'll see.
I admit, I loved this game as well. It's not perfect, and for a sequel, Ninja Theory would need to make many improvements.
That is why they deserve a sequel. To come this far, and make such a fun game, only for it to be forgotten is depressing.

I am not a fan of this particular entry in the series. Not a fan at all.

And since some people are talking about possible sequel, I'd say that they should focus on the first days of the awakened world, the moment where people looked around and realized that holy ****, demons everywhere! Have Dante slowly overcome his douchey persona and try to become the shining hero that the humanity will probably need in these tough times.

I'll only accept Nero if he has his own hand-to-hand moveset like Beowulf, Gilgamesh, or Eryx. None of that ''auto-move'' God of War crap. :/

Next gen consoles are coming out(well the ps4(i think have to wait till the 20th to be sure)) soonish so they could make it for that. So they could have a high framefrate, amazing graphics, lots of enemies on screen, moving environments. NT and capcom just need to think of a new mechanic to add to the game or just give even more freedom in combat to be stylish. Like have the 5 melee weapons available but be able to switch those weapons out with other demon and angel weapons at statues or in pre mission menus and give each weapons a minimum of 3 total pause combos. Maybe have differently styled stances too like 2 of each stance and using down on the dpad to switch stances while in that stance. And have a second playable character on disc with his/her own set of missions and maybe add a survival mode(to extend it playtime) where hordes of demons keep coming until you die. Also make the difficultly up to par with old games and leave easy and normal for beginners and nephilim(the real normal mode) and up are for the people who want a challenge. Then boom DmC with all the bells and whistles of DMC

yeah. a sequel would be great. and i also wouldn't mind seeing nero. trish and lady in later installments. actually when i think about it. Nero in the DmC world would be pretty beast.^_^

I agree and disagree with you.
I say we still have all the same difficulties, but after that add in Turbo mode and Downfall's (I think it was) Idea of Dante will die mode that's harder than DMC3.
