Aww, that's sweet. My dog, Ada, tends to think she runs everything. So does my cat. I'm amazed they kind of get along.

lol. They were possessed by the spirits of Dante and Vergil. I think I'd get worried and separate them.

They haven't fought each other since really. They get along better than the brothers I named them after it seems lol.

lol. Way to ruin the whole idea. Maybe they're going back in time as Dante and Vergil, and now they get along like so many of us wish the characters would.
And trust me, I know. I've read some sci fi books where the author's really get absorbed in the vision of this world they're creating that it can be hard for not-so-big sci fi fans to get into. But if ever do a sci fi, I'll be careful with it so it's comfortable enough for n00bs.

But aye, I wish you all the best Dawn on your novel ideas :3 as that guy from Tangled once said 'go, live your dream'

It feels much better to create your own characters and worlds, though. You should try sharing your work online, you might get some pretty good feedback.

It's always fun to get lost in it. That's the best part of writing.

I wish you the best, too. Here's some advice that I think Stephen King gave once. Don't do so much studying that you lose the essence of you're writing. He also said, "Kill your darlings." But for what you're writing, that might not be the best idea.
I started with fanfics. I still write them today, just so much as I'm trying to focus on doing more original stuff since I want to make something for myself. I have done a couple of short original stories now and again, but they aren't anything I've posted online. But I do enjoy writing too ^^ I love getting lost in what i'm doing and making things.
Sounds really cool, I started writing in school too, when I was about 15 :3 i hope you make it just remember to keep at it.

And I'm more into sci fi and horror. But I've always had a soft spot for romance, as long as it isn't the main plot of something. That's what i'm trying to do right now, with a bit of adventure.

What did you start with? Short stories, poetry, etc? Thank you. I will. I enjoy writing enough that I don't think I'd give it up, anyway.

I love horror. Sci-fi can be good, but I've noticed some writers tend to get a little carried away with it. So that's one I'd suggest being careful with. Romance can be okay if, like you said, it's not the main plot. I hope you can make it work.
You're a writer? :3 What do you write? As a hobby? Novel stuff or journalism?

I'm trying to be a writer, at least. It started as a hobby in Jr. High and now I'm trying to make it a career through online self publishing. It's at least a start. And it's mostly going to be novels based more in the supernatural which is one of my main interests. What about you? I was curious about what you like to write when I found out.
Allow me the honor of being the first to post. If Blood Omen 2 had had a little more polish, better direction, and not have that red riding hood cloak, I think it would have been a considerably better game. As it is, it's a game that had promise, but unfortunately, could not quite reach the dizzying heights already reached by the first Soul Reaver.

More like it couldn't reach the potential of the first Blood Omen. lol. Don't forget, it started everything. Blood Omen 2 I like because of the fact you see another side to Kain. As far as I'm concerned, that's better than keeping him at one level in every game. So it's just another piece of him, as far as I'm concerned.
