A demon who wants to be stronger would be best we haven't had a demon main villain since the first game and I think we really need one.

I think the return of vergil would be absolutely baddass!
But NOT a rebooted version, maybe a refined version.
The more characters that enter the Rebooted series, the more original it'll feel, and personally, I think thats important.
NT needs something to draw in the original fanbase..... and I think Vergil will help do that.

A person from Dante's past, I'd say. Not Vergil, but somebody we don't know whose story could be fleshed out in the cutscenes. The revelation of who it is should come as a shock.

And, maybe this time some demons will turn out to be good guys and will aid you.

Hasn't every final boss been a demon so far? Maybe not in demon form, but at least part demon. But then, what did you expect? There's demons everywhere XD.

I'd like something new, but from the list I'd pick a rebooted Vergil.

Definitely a demon lord. Maybe Mundus. But if so, then I hope Dante doesn't defeat him then and there, otherwise it's old DMC all over again where Dante's too strong and it's no fun anymore. Maybe Vergil being a second to last final boss.
