I purchased One Piece Volume 1 of the manga for my son. He read it all in one day, so I assume he liked that. I also got him Jeff Smith's Bone Volume 1. He ate that up as well, so those feel like good purchases.

I also bought Frieren Volume 1 for myself. It is good, if a slow burn.

My favorite thing I bought though? That Dark and Bloody River by Eckert. My son and I are slowly reading through that book page by page. It is a historical narrative of the Ohio River and the pioneers that conquered the Ohio River Valley. It's really awesome.
