What games are you Hyped for in 2026/2027 and beyond?

The new tomb raider games revealed, i hope at least one is in the same playstyle as rise and shadow were.

I'm currently playing through Rise at the moment. It was my favourite out of that trilogy. I think this might play more in the vein of Legend/Underworld/Anniversary. However, that's only judging from one trailer so far. I wouldn't mind if it incorporated similar playstyle/mechanics from those games. It will be interesting to find out more about it.

Rise was by far the best one, shadow felt like it was missing something which is a shame.

I've just started playing Shadow for the first time myself. I've seen bits of it before and had heard things about the story. I have to say that so far I'm not as grabbed by it as I was Rise. I can definitely see what you mean by something feels lacking. It is a shame, yes.

It also got me thinking that since there are two upcoming Tomb Raider games perhaps the full remake of 1 will be more in the style of Classic/Traditional Lara whereas Catalyst might possibly play more like the Survivor Trilogy Lara or maybe even somewhat a mixture of the two playstyles (Which would be very interesting to see).

After Thursday's showcases, I have to add Castlevania: Belmont's Curse and both LoK games. And all pretty high on the list.

Since last time I listed like 40 or 50 games, I'll just keep it at Top 15 for now and not counting games currently in Early Access. Hell, I'll even rank 'em:

1. Marathon (2026)
2. Judas
3. Clockwork Revolution
4. Marvel's Blade
5. Warhammer Survivors
6. Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game
7. Resident Evil: Requiem
8. Legacy of Kain: Defiance Remastered
9. Legacy of Kain: Ascension
10. Castlevania: Belmont's Curse
11. Tomb Raider: Catalyst
12. Springs, Eternal
13. Beast of Reincarnation
14. Tides of Annihilation
15. Phantom Blade Zero

I'm actually quite surprised how Western-AAA-heavy my list is, considering how frequently disappointed I am in their games the past few years. But I still have faith Ken Levine, inXile, and Arkane Lyon. Marathon's hype for me is 90% based on the interesting lore, aesthetic, and a handful of IRL friends planning on playing it. I'm actually pretty unfamiliar with Bungie recently, not really having played their final Halo games, Destiny, nor Destiny 2. But I know they have a great rep for storytelling and game design still.
