What do you Fear, Know, & Hope?

When it comes to DmC tell me what it is that you fear,hope, and know will happen to the game. Like glitch fests, balance issues, camera problems, etc.

Fear:

I only fear that this game will be just like the last DMCs. I found 4 stale and only progressed because some games get better overtime.

Know:

I was truly let down by the way they handled NERO in DMC 4. He didn't have any extra weapons and they dumbed down his strength for Dante to enter. Nero is just as, if not, stronger than DMC 3 Dante. The kid had crazy potential and they just blew him off for the fanbase of Dante's. The word "Secret" doesn't fly well with Capcom nowadays.

You'd think Dante would be a secret unlockable after Nero's story. Since well "YEAH WE DID PLAY THE SAME LEVELS AS NERO"

What I do know is that DKD (Demon Killer Dante) has a personality I can understand and a mouth that I too would use in a situation like his own. I leave the whining of his looks to the cosplay fanboys because we all know they can't pull off the badass look this Dante has.

I came, I saw, and I loved it. When they first proved to me that the combat is aerial based (Combat trailer) I was psyched. I never get psyched for games except FF Versus, a new Spawn game, or a Deadpool game. Any game that makes me want to buy it just from showing me a few moves from the first three weapons you start out with, with the promise of MORE, is a game I'm going to buy.

Hope:

I hope, I hope! Everyone gets what they want out of this game. Though I've bumped heads with other gamers who don't share the same views as me. I still want them to enjoy themselves.

Also, Teenager Jesus, I'd like for FF Versus to be released in the middle of 2013.
 
I fear that they may be focusing on certain parts in gameplay like jump canceling and that they may not really bring anything new to the gameplay(the cutting mechanic in mgr or the 360 shooting in bayonettaI also wonder if the cut scene's will have any epic fight scene's like dante vs vergil or nero vs dante(do they have a stunt time like just cause)overall fear maybe the world just doesn't like hack n slash and the game gets no buzz and goes unnoticed.


my hopes are simply that the game satisfies because we have be been waiting. So i hope this dante can actually invole into the demon hunter we know.
 
My only fear for the game is Glitches! Also, NT mentioned in one of their interviews that there won't be much epic fighting sequences in the game's cut scene. I really hope they make some over the top fighting scenes because that defines how bad ass Dante is!
 
Fear: Too much dependence on air combat, looks like dumbed down version of previous games for casual players (and yes, I know I could be wrong).

Know: Style switching worked better for me. There's something about not running/walking towards but rather teleporting towards it.

Hope: Nothing.
 
My fear is the game won't have as well designed enemies.
I know the game will improve upon story.
I hope every Devil May Cry fan will enjoy this game.
 
my fear is that all the haters will get what they want and go all yayy i told you so!...
i know this is going to be one epic game... probably more than DMC could ever be!
i hope all of DMC fans to love and enjoy this game to the max!....and for new people who doesnt know it exists will get it and play the other games as well ^_^
 
Fears: That it'll be no more better than the Itsuno's DMCs and, so far, I see nothing that'll relieve of that doubt. The story is really up in your face about its themes and Dante strikes me as just an angry punk.

Know: People will enjoy it. I probably won't enjoy it as much as I initially thought.

Hope: That this game will destroy my impressions, crumble them into dust, spit on them, and slap me for ever doubting a game based on one of my favorite action franchises.
 
Fear: Dante by the end of the game becomes that lame, crappy excuse of a character, DMC4 Dante, and the glitches.

Know: The game's story seems to surpass DMC2, and DMC4. Still don't know about 1 and 3. Gameplay seems fluid and fast. Dante looks cooler to me then he ever was in DMC3, and obviously DMC4.

Hope: I actually get to play it.
 
Fear: The game won't meet or surpass my expectations.....lazy weapons or annoying weapons like Nevan, easy enemies, linear bosses, short story mode, the story may suck based on thus and pretty much fear everything else.

Know: The combat is crazy and fast, the battle music sick and very fitting for this game and crazy. Something you can jam to IMO from what I've seen the soundtrack is more sweet than DMC3 & DMC4...maybe equal to DMC1 & DMC2. Platforming looks better than past DMC games.

Hope: That none of my fear is true and that the game is actually really good and is just as good as every DMC game before it if not better. I'm mainly rooting for it to be better than Bayonetta and MGR.
 
fear : I wont have the entire week off to play it.

know : I will have plenty of **** to smoke and beer to drink throughout my first playthrough

hope : Dante becomes something more than previous Dante's
 
Fear : The new mechanics, such as autolocking, become too much of a nuisance to enjoy the gameplay thoroughly.

Know : I'll be getting this game, and I'll be completing this game, no matter what.

Hope : After I complete the game I can say that it was worth the money, then go on to do all difficulties.

Nothing really, except that it would make no sense at all, Nero belongs in the DMC4 universe atleast for now, Vergil is the missing piece right now, after that we can talk about Trish, Lady, Nero and Lucia (?) making an appearance.

You gotta have a little sense of humour ya know :P

...............................Nero had plenty of purpose.....plus DmC Dante has a lot of Nero perks and abilities/moves......its even possible he won't even be in it. I infact wanna see some new characters never before seen in any other DMC game.
