What are you watching right now?

Jake Paul getting his chin checked by Anthony Joshua. Had completely forgot that ridiculous fight was taking place.
Sadly the loss, the multiple knockdowns and his running at the beginning still won't humble him or quell his ego or make his followers stop chanting his name like a folk hero.

Psyching myself up for a replay of FF8 by watching a video about its lost content.

Man, it's stuff like this and potentially exploring R=U that made me wish we got a Remake of 8 and not 7 which hasn't justified its existence IMO.

I've been trying to get through the Alienist and Evil but both shows have so much dumb that get in the way of the actual good show they both have the potential to be.

Thinking about it some more, if the Laguna sequences were really meant to make up to 50% of the original game, then it might be worth detaching them and reformulating them into a Crisis Core-esque Prequel first, which would allow the devs to make a Remake of FF8 that more naturally expands on the present day stuff without the game feeling bloated as a result. :unsure:

@Lain
thats works but i think you would have to address Squall's relationship with him so that could be the epilogue. A criticism ive seen of 8 is that Laguna's relationship with Squall shouldve played a bigger role in act 4 than the love story so this is a way to fill the gap for some.

you should check out this fanfic called "chaos theory" on archiveofourown.org. Its an alternate timeline where Squall was raised by Laguna and it felt like the ideal way to handle a remake.

Right now, the FF7 remakes are basically like the Persona rereleases. The new content is fine but it doesnt add as much to the base game and would work better seperate. Yuffie's dynamic with Sonom in FF7 integrade feels like it would've been better served as the prologue in a Yuffie Spinoff than tacked on to FF7R.

as corny as Dead Rising Case West, I just prefer that approach more.

Watching some more FF8 content, though this one is more a retrospective on 8's development as a whole, rather than simply explaining what the infamous cut content really was.

The Walking Dead graphic novel dramatization on Youtube. It's ok. Some of the lines fall flat, but the voice actors used do a pretty decent job. What's cool is the editing adds each frame of the book 1 by 1 as the lines are delivered. So, it feels somewhat like watching a show in stillframes.

I have no clue what it's called but something to do with wildlife in Puerto Rico narrated by Sir David Attenborough.
