What are you currently playing?

I'm still grinding Marathon. Trying to hit Season level 100 before the Season ends in 6-8 weeks. I'm level 64 and it takes 1-3 hours to gain a level, depending on Run success. So I should be able to do it. But I'm still crossing my fingers.

I haven't really played anything else the past few days except... old PS1 games. I finished PaRappa the Rapper today and am re-starting Xenogears (my original save file was only 7 hours in, but I'm playing on a different platform now).

And I'm really motivated to only play Xenogears on the side. I've wanted to play/finish this game for almost 30 years. And now it's easier for me, besides having to deal w/ playing the OG discs on PS3.

I'll still play my Switch while lying down and for Steam, may mix in a FG and some turn-off-my-brain rogueish game too on occasion, but until the first or second week of June, I'll likely only be playing:

Xenogears
13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim
Street Fighter 6
Skull Horde

No. I'm starting with DMC1, Japanese version for the controls and PS2 for the experience, along with Viewtiful Joe as Dante. I'm also playing DMC2 and Bayonetta on the PS5. After that I'm moving on to DMC3 and Bayo2 on the Switch 2. Then it's on to my PS3 titles which are MGR, the GoW remasters, all 4 of them, maybe I'll hit Remember Me, if I can find my copy. I remember GoW3 being pretty long but I got it on the PS5 so maybe I'll play that one on it's on. Definitely Alice: MR since I got it on Steam a few ago and haven't gotten to it, better that trying to dig up my PS3 copy. I never played Dante's Inferno but I found a copy recently and just installed it, that should be fun. After that I'll go to DMC4 and DmC, then it's Scarlet Nexus, DMC5, Bayo3, NG4. I don't know if I'll play Onimusha again, just beat it recently, but I'll definitely give Onechanbara a go. They took out Darksiders 1 & 2 from PS+ but I think 3 is still there. Bloodrayne 2 is also on sale on Steam so I might get that. If I can squeeze in other genre adjacent games, like Akiba'sTrip, Wanted Dead and Evil West, I'll give those a go, too, but this run is really for games that are the DMC/Bayo type of action so Soulstice, Valkyrie Elysium, Nier Auto/Repl, Drakengard 3 and so on. Even something like Crystar/makina, Nights of Azure and VJ feel like it's pushing those parameters, so no Astral Chain, no Souls games, no Vanquish.
 
The 10 year anniversary of doom 2016 is in 3 days time, so i am going to start a fresh ultra nightmare run on the game in honour of that.

I'm enjoying it. I think 2018 is better, too. I also preferred the first Spider-Man to Spider-Man 2 as well. I guess game sequels can be like movie sequels. They're good but not better than the originals.
