We ain't seen nothin' yet.

For some reason, I thought we had seen an overwhelming majority of DmC; nearly to the point where I was afraid of running across spoilers or something.
But we've seen barely anything.

In the recent Capcom-Unity steams, Gregaman keeps referring to Overturned as Mission 7, and the general consensus is that Under Watch is Mission 5. We don't quite know which mission Devil's Dalliance (the club) is yet. Other than that, we've seen clips of the intro level (the Bellevue Pier) and nothing from levels 2-4.

In one stream, Mr. Itsuno said that DmC will be about as long as other Devil May Cry games. That brings it to about 20-22 missions.

Alternately, we've seen a cumulative 2 hours of gameplay at the most. Alex Jones has said the average player will take 10-15 hours finishing this game.

In all, there's much more to be seen. My guess is that the next two levels that we'll see more of are the Virility Factory and Devil's Dalliance. We've got a little more than a month until Tokyo Game Show and there's some (much smaller) convention coming up before then, I think.

you're right, and i can't wait to see what they show at tokyo game show! :)
let the countdown begin!

Agreed, and as for the levels we have seen, we haven't seen them in their fullest. I'm glad they are holding back until release. It makes the experience much better.

During the gameplay of the club level ( don't know the mission's official name, sorry...), Jones said it was half of the game.

So, if DmC is as long as earlier games, there will be something like 20 missions. The club level is probably mission 10. It makes sense. 20 is a exact number, better than 22 or 23, I guess.

good point, i mean the only thing we've seen in completion is the poison boss fight. everything else we've only seen bits and pieces of. even the city streets level we've seen for over a year is only part of the level.

Do the boss battles count as missions?

The Poison fight is after the virility mission. The press fight is after the mission "Overturned".

If so, we already know 7 missions.

Mission 1: The peir
Mission 5: The city
Mission 7: Over-turn
Mission?: Devil's delliance

Seems like there's a sh*t load of stuff they're putting in this game.

I've finished watching the Poison battle on Devilmaycry profile, from youtube.

They say that battle is about 1/3 of the game.

If there are really 20 missions ( I remember someone claiming that's the exact number of missions), then the Virility factory is about mission 6 or 7. It can't be mission 7, because TC brought the info about Overturn being mission 7. So, it's mission 6.

If boss battles don't count as separate missions, both Virility Factory and the boss battle are one mission. If not, The City can't be mission 5.

"We've not seen anything" is hardly the way to describe the amout of information we've been presented to. In all honesty I am impatient to play and see the game in its entirety, but at this point, I start to be more and more convinced that if we'll be presented to any more relevant information now, it might be too big of a spoiler. It really is a bit of an contradicting feeling, but rationally explainable nonethless. I want to have the gaming experience thrilling and fresh on my first round, full of surprises and secrets. :) So I hope they'll just tease us briefly, and keep the secrets hidden in their breast pockets. ;)

I don't think that they will count as separate missions, the virility factory and Poison boss battle for example are one and the same

But aren't you forgetting something, Vergil? :D

I thought we apparently seen about 80% of the game...it's so intense that it seems like solid rock.

so we have seen: the nightclub, the carnivale, Virility factory, Raptor News, and the city streets, that's 5/20 AND we haven't even seen them from start to finish ^_^

Bellevue Pier???

We also dont know if what we've seen is the final product. They may have changed some wording to not give anything away before its revealed like how Kat say Virgil gave her the camera locations instead of her finding them.
My thoughts exactly.

In some recent Overturned gameplay, I heard Kat's voice saying "Dante, it's chaos up here!/Up there; I marked it!"
Sounds like they omitted some spoilers there :D

So what of the Secret missions. We've only seen one of them.

The weapons also, they've showed off 2 new weapons.

Arbiter and Scythe. The rest we're familiar with from the original. They are gathering up the old fans first, then they will hit us with the truly fresh weapons.

Rebellion = Rebellion = Force Edge
Enry = Beowulf = Gigamesh = Ifrit
Demon Whip = Devil Bringer

Mission 1: Kick ass at a fairground
Mission 2: Kick more ass someplace else
Mission 3: Random game filler designed to make you feel like your playing part of the story( probably that church level)
Mission 4: A Dumpster
Mission 5: A nice neighborhood with friendly people and where everyone recycles (having dante beat up a bunch of activists is a good way to send a message, mind you)
Mission 6: Some.....random place in..........Turkey. I think.
Mission 7. End of game
Mission 8. Dante wakes up from a kick ass dream, grabs his red coat, and kicks back in the Devil May Cry.

I pretty much just layed out the whole game for everyone. sorry for the *spoiler*. :P

What an odd thing to say. If we had, indeed, seen most of what the game had to offer then I'd we'd been jiffed. I don't think we've even seen an entire stage much less the entirety of it all.
