The Forsaken Offspring of Heaven and Hell
Recently it's been announced that DmC will have a bonus DLC specifically for Vergil's own playthrough. Kinda like DMC 3, right? Well, yes and no. Apparently this will be a story extension on Vergil's side, which by the look of things will be taking place AFTER you play through DmC by itself. That's right. Vergil will be getting his own legitimate story path, not just an exact playthrough with different results. And I have to say, the trailer by itself makes him look even more glorious than he did in DMC 3, or even Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3.
This DLC content flushes the classic with a lot more play off of with the new, and seems to employ what looks like Vergil's path to becoming the Dark Angel. A lot of his play style has been reserved from DMC 3, but even has some brand new twists to it. He still has incredible power and reach, and his speed is still phenomenal. What's even better is that he can chain combos into signature abilities such as the Trick Teleport, Dimension Slash, and even some new ones that can only add up to even more sick combos.
