Before I read the second post I was thinking nah, that's not right for how NT design their chars (they have really weird proportions IMO) then I looked at the face and thought that's looks more like a FF character, I guess it's true, all Square Enix characters look the same! XD

You should have downloaded the pictures, renamed them and then put them up on imageshack or something like that, and THEN put them on the forum. That way it wouldn't be this easy to tell that it was a joke.
Of course, as others said, the graphics and the character modelling looks typical Square Enix and not something NT would do. Not even something Capcom would do either...

No, if there's a Final Fantasy character who is somewhat like Vergil, then I would say it is this guy...
Not just because of the silver hair, the coat and the sword, but also because of their desire to wield some eternally evil power, Vergil wanting it from his father Sparda, and Sephiroth wanting it from his "mother" Jenova. They are both cold in personality, tactical thinking and focused, yet they still share a sarcastic and sadistic sense of humour. Not to mention they are both "half/half" something, Vergil being half human/demon, Sephiroth being half human/whatever Jenova is due to gene-manipulation... Oh, and they both have a "brother" who likes to wield big swords, Vergil having Dante and Sephiroth having Zack Fair (who aren't really brothers, but they share the same genetic code due to gene-manipulation of the Jenova gene implanted in both of them). Dante and Zack also have a few similarities, but not really all that many, though they both nail the cocky personality.
There are also some points where they are nothing alike though, but I still think they share alot of similarities.
